Avent Ocean

The gorgeous, naturally green waters of the western Avent Ocean are known best for the abundance of marine life they house — for better and worse. The sea itself might be described as usually jovial in nature, except during seasonal times of storm, and would even be a delight for sailors to cross, if not for its being sandwiched between the dangers of the subtle Mazarine and changeable Jaspate.

Sailors of the past have, at times, attempted to circumnavigate between the Girivian and Rishtan coasts, linking the Avent and Tourmal oceans. Yet it seems the abundant wildlife of those waters, in addition to the challenges of so long a journey at sea, have typically either caused those ships to turn right back around, or to be lost at sea.
